I am doing a Lyanna Stark costume from Game of Thrones, and i was almost done, until I decided that it needed two embroideries on eatch side of the coat. Now Im all stressd out with this ... It's incredibly boring, I was going to do it by hand, but found out how I can fill it out on the sewing machine, but it still takes a long time. I'm still not finished with the fist side. I am very pleased with the costume so far. It consists of a gray undergarment that does not mean anything in particular, but the coat is wats importent. It is made of wool, and I have dyed it gray-blueish myself from white. It's got a lovely color, and its lined with fur. I chose wool and fur because the character who grew up and lives in Winterfell.

If you do not know who Lyanna Stark is, it's really no wonder at least if you have only seen the TV series and not read the books. Lyanna is really an important character as the events referred to her started the great war to depose the Targeryens from the throne when Rhegar Targeyen kidnapped her. Robert Barathion (whom she was betrothed to) was furious and family Stark equally so. When The head of Stark kin and his heir (Rickard Stark and Brandon Stark) was burnt alive by King Aerys ( "The Mad King"). Barathion appointed as himself king and got more houses to support themselves. Some would maybe say he started a war to regain his betrothed Lyanna Stark that he was deeply in love with. But that did not happen, Barathion won war but Lyanna died in the arms of her then oldest living brother Eddard Stak (Ned Stark) during a rescue operation. The TV series starts first 13 years after, Robert Barathion is king, and Ned Stark's head of house Stark, these two are two important characters in season one of Game of thrones. But I shall therefore cosplaying woman who "started it all" (it was of course many other factors to war). She never appers in television series, except for a statue of her standing in the crypt where she is buried. She is referred to sometimes as like a beautiful woman who resembled Arya Stark, both in personality and appearance. But she had a strict father and never got to carry a sword and allways wore dresses because she was a woman. There are certainly some mistakes in my story here about Lyanna but atleast thats how i see it ..
