Progress on my Queen Amidala cosplay

I decided to make another Star Wars cosplay after the success i had with my Rey cosplay! This will be my second all homemade cosplay, and my first really advanced one! Lets all keep in mind i am still very much a noob.

What would i make? Of course the caption of this post kind of spoils it, its Queen Amidala. Even though she is one of the characters in the less successful movies, i really, REALLY, really love her costumes!! They are so intricate and beautiful, and i love how they are inspired by Asian historical clothing! I went with the easier one, which is her gray kimono outfit from Phantom Menace seeing as the headpiece is not too big to handle... I really love the colors and the embroidery of this outfit! And it seems doable...Can't remember it? Its not surprising as she only wears this outfit in one scene of the movie, and all the time we only get closeups of her sitting down, so i had to use these small photos as reference as i was making it.

Below this i will post progress photos! It is not completely done yet, but it will be soon as i am compating with it at Starcon in Stavanger 06.11.16, i hope to see you there! When its all done i will post photos of the whole costume!
