So, when i desieded to go to Tinycon in January, i had no one to go with, as my cosplay friend was working, and my boyfriend did NOT want to go with me. So i had to persuade someone else. The victim was my friend and "sister in law" Silje. I knew it was i tough task, but i braced myself. The best wayto get her on the hook, was promiseing to make her a cool costume! And waht would that be? I started out by pitching some anime characters i thought she liked. At first she denied, as ekspekted, but with my cunning excitement and creativity I loured her in, and she started comming around. Yes, i can be manipulating at times. However we did not land on any anime characters, nor anything from diseny(a hopeless atemt on my part, realy) but traditional Japanese kimonos for the iron age. More spesiffic, the Yayoi period. Luckily i got some creative freedom.
We went fabric shopping, and i started sewing, and it turned out great! We allso desided to not go with black wig, but just fix her natural hair(strawberry blond) and do my best at styling it.
We went to the con, she thaught it was horrible and will neve come with me again, BUT she loved her outfitt! And yesterday we had a photoshoot, here is the reasults!! My brother in laws took photos and they are so talented, im amazed by these magical photos! These are the photographers edits, i might edit some of them myself later! Witch one did you like best?
